In my 69 Superbee the fuel gauge and amp gauge work but the temp and oil dont???????? I've replaced senders with new and old working originals but the gauges still dont work.

ALTHOUGH!! if you ground the wire to the sender then they peg out on the high side which tells me the gauge works.

WHAT GIVES?

You aren't using any kind of sealant on the senders are you?

If the dash has never been out, take it out. each gauge has two threaded studs on it. They have to make contact with the wire (gold ribbon like wire imprinted into greed board) to work properly.

My gauges used to be a bit eratic until I yanked the cluster and put decals on it. Just the act of removing them, handling them, cleaning up the studs and the board made a huge difference. They all work fine now. Before, the fuel gauge was iffy and so was the temp. If you have them out, you can also claibrate them.

that last one was a bod pic, but you can make out the studs if you squint really hard.
here is a chart of the proper resistance values to calibrate. If you have them out already, it's silly not to calibrate them. for about 5 bucks in resistors at radio shack and 10 minutes per gauge, it's a no brainer.
