68 barracuda going up on auction here. As stated above it says its a Formula S , has a 340 4 spd with console.
GREEN guts and somekind of dark/navy blue outside.
doubt if there's a build sheet
So the question is , what or where do I look to confirm
that this car is really an "S"?

Quickest way to check is the VIN. In 68 The only way to get the 340 was a formula S option. So having stated that if you look at the 5th diget of the VIN it will be a P. If its any other digit its not a 340 car. So the vin should be something like BS29P82xxxxxx Good luck.

Also, if it has a fender tag, on the second row from the top, there will be a 7 under the "F".
