Yes, I agree, but after you've been there about an hour your nose gives up and it becomes tolerable

As an event, I had a great time at the one up in Sonoma last year even though they didn't pick my bracket. Now I'm faced with decidint\g to be consistent and run motor only or be faster with the N20 at the risk of inconsistency. They sem to choose faster brackets and being in the 10's may give me a better chance. I can bump the spray up a bit more and easily get into the low 10's...

eh i thought about goin to watch, but after watching pinks today it just seems like its goin to crap and rich always seems wayy too dramatic, let me know if you make it, ill be rooting silently from my house for the fellow mopar people.

Last time out went 10.139, 10.139, 10.141, so I think I may have that consistency thing down.

I'll be there, probably Thursday morning and my reg number is 007... However if its ran like Pacific, the reg number means absolutely nothing!!!

When we rolled into Pacific, there was a guy standing in the street handing out a pit entrance number.. mine was #112.. Which meant I had to sit in the parking lot until 111 racers registered and made their way to their pit spots..

Once it was my turn to register, I received a numbered tech card... this number was 114 and that was my race number for the entire weekend.

One twist they added this year is when you register, you had to guesstimate how fast your car would run.. Then they gave you a different color tech card and categorized you by letter..

A=12.50 - 12.99
B=12.00 - 12.49
C=11.50 - 11.99
D=11.00 - 11.49
and so on... The class I selected was the E class, 10.50 - 10.99

If you have no clue what your car will run, or if you are off on your estimate, it doesnt mean anything to your hopes of getting picked to the show... They just want to see cars somewhat equally matched go down the track in qualifying and the two rounds..

I with you Dan, I can run motor only and be fairly consistent or I can hit the bottle and God only knows how the car will run.. So far this year, I believe there has been one 9 second class and one 11 second class with everything else being low to mid 10's...

Also, this will be the final race of the season, so I'm sure they'll want to finish with a good class..
