Replace the resistor.It supplies ground and if its bad it can have 500 volts and not run.That and if the motor is bad it should be replaced anyway because they arent a very sturdy piece.That and they are a lot cheaper than a motor.Rocky

i am going to try to jump the grnd from the plug and see if it is the grnd.i should use a fused wire though.i will try to make 1. there are some heavy storms moving through so i may have to wait even though i am in a carport.

i dont see it under the hood.could it be behind the glovebox? or do you mean up by the windshield?
