I have a 2.4 in my 1996 Cirrus. Can the auto tranny from it be used in a 1995 Cirrus that has a 2.5 in it?

I found a $400 1995 Cirrus on Craigslist that sounds like it’s in fair shape with a number of parts recently replaced on it. It’s cheap because it has some deer hit damage and the tranny is out. I know a Chrysler tranny guy who does side jobs so I might be able to get it swapped out fairly cheap.

THE 2.4 IS A 4 Cylinder & The 2.5 is a V6 . No it will not bolt up to your engine..

Thanks. I didn't figure it would work but I was thinking maybe a small chance. I spaced off the setup of the 6 cylinder. For some reason I was thinking it was in-line like the 4. Back to the drawing boards as what to do for a daily driver.
