Thanks guys! Updates have been kinda slow, i know but its from focusing more on getting it done then uploading pics and posting them. So here is what has been going on...

First off, i have this parts car here that has really nice condition stuff, and the brake lines were too so i decided to save a few bucks and use them...

Then I went over to buddy's place to sandblast some stuff...

Then went to the local yard, got a heater box(shes pretty i know ) and an ashtray as all mine were busted...

Then Painted up some of the disc brake stuff i got from Gorski (sunroofgtx)...

Took apart the heater box cleaned up everything. I didnt take the easy way out on this, even grinded the rivets off to clean it up the best i can...

Pulled the side markers out...

Polished them, they will do for now, i really would like to find two nice rears and one nice front...

Pulled all the trim out to start polishing...

And by far the weirdest event over the past few days was that saturday i went up to the house for lunch and we left the barn door open. Found three peacocks inside hanging out by the super bee. Once we got them out of the barn they hung out outside for about 4 hours until the dog chased them away.

Thats all for now, ill try to keep the updates most consistant for now on

That's funny Steve but I would have left them there to gaurd your stuff they make one heck of a noise when disturbed at night. Looks like your on schedule for Carlisle.

Well Today was forward and backward, learned a lesson, check to make sure your dog house is for a Power brake car before installing. If your unsure what i mean, the manual brake cars have studs(seen through firewall) and power brake cars have no studs(seen in front)...

But aside from that hold up i finished the heater box...

Painted the horns and brake booster...

And I made the firewall look a little more complete...

More tommorrow...

Those peacocks must have been Chevy guys--they heard there was a SuperBird in the barn, but found out it was a Super Bee.

I let the girlfriend prime the rear after i cleaned it...

The car looking great - I hope to see it at the Nats this summer.

If one of the Mopar mags isn't covering this they are missing out on a great article! The title should be "By the Sweat of His Brow."

Well guys here is another update...

First off, I clean and painted all the leafs and parts...

Then Assembled the leafs, im waiting on some bushings before i install them...

Got a package in the mail, A pair of MINT grills, with screws and clips!

Then I decided since there was a lot of repair work done around all the windows where the inside trim attaches i better mock it up to see if it fits before i do the headliner. Glad I did, you can see the piece that wouldnt go in...

Since i did extensive repair in those areas (see below) i would guess i most likely just filled it in thinking it was a spot weld i drilled, guess not

Well I had to take a picture of the spindle before i put them on and they get covered by the rotor, they look so...clean

Since i cannot find anything as far as a complete 71 two piece proportioning valve, i was forced to salvage a 72, i hate the concept as they just dont look nearly as good. Since they mount differently on the inner fender and i wasnt going to drill the inner fender, i made a bracket so when the time comes i can switch it without having to fill the drilled hole. I took the bracket picture below the bolt (this one and another) and made a bracket. So i went from this...

To this...

To this...

Thats all for now!
