Thanks guys!

burdar The trunk is just going to get the rust bullet treatment. I dont have any plans to paint a trunk that i will scratch up. Ill be using the car to drive. Having a nice trunk that all my stuff will screw up is out of the question.

monoptn You will get to see the car at the NATS this summer. I will have it there and it will be on brice road all weekend...

72gtx4speed Clem, june is pushing it for me to get it there so i high doubt i will. Will have it to the NATS and carlisle though. I'll try to make it out to mikes place again in june. You guys were a riot!

Looking awesome Steve. I can't wait to see the car all together. I am slowly doing something similar to my Duster - except I am using a mostly rust free California car.

Have a great spring break, and congrats on getting the Dana.

Here is a few update pics, alot of the work is now on little trinkets that you cant take a ton of pics of but ill see what i can do as far as show the work...

Got some more Rust bullet applied to the inside. I'm using paint brushes for more control of any splatter or overspray that could occur from a gun. Also applied seem sealer to the entire inside of the car...

Now for the tail light bezels. I can honestly say just to get the bezels where they are in the picture i have spent 5 hours. I paid next to nothing for the complete setup but the bezels needed lots of time invested. The edges when placed in a bumper had gaps up to 3/8". Then other varius damage like dents and dings. Since there was so much damage to the outer ring of them i just filled in the small body line on the outside and got them as strait as possible. I also filled in the recessed area for the reverse lense. It will be a very small difference that just in black primer gives it a cleaner look...

Then these two hinges have been fix. The old pins are gone and a new oversize pin is in place. The rollers i had a local machinist do for me

Also picked up some more goodies for it. I got some direct connection valve covers, boy they do look good!

Also picked up a rimblow. I havent decide what i want to do with it yet as it needs some restoring but the wheel is not cracked and the original rubber horn still works.

Thanks Ryan im sure you will be down to help this summer!

Well hear is some pics ive been meaning to post for a little now. Starting to put it together i walked into another parts car that i got a lot of the nuts and bolts and brackets off that i never had. So i started by cleaning these interior brackets...

They came out beautiful as this car was very well rust free. Here is the dash that i will use for many parts. It has clock, not quite a tach, but i have the tach taken care of which you guys will see in a little...

Here is the only non A/C frame i have after cleaning it up. Had to spray it with some high build primer due to some pits...

Pulled the e brake out of the parts cars as well, its better than any others i had, i took it all apart and even painted the brake line

I installed the brackets, e brake, and pedals, Still have to clean the gas pedal, the clutch pedal switch and brake switch before install...

Drilled a 4 speed hole in the dash, painted it and then laid everything out inside on tabels to transfer the parts from the parts dash to the bee's dash...

Summers coming up soon so updates should be daily soon!

Pulled the gauges apart to clean and touch up...

Resetting the odometer to 0 so i know how many miles I personally put on her

Layed the wiring in to check, Still have to touch up with some black on the backside at a later time...

This has been my favorite thread to watch. You guys did an incredible job on this car.
I have to point one thing out which I hope you reconsider - the trunk finish.
Paint it - the silver looks a bit funky, and will be the part of this magnificent restoration you will always have to explain.
You have the car apart, and it would not take too much effort to finish it up in black. In the long run, I suspect you will feel the same way. Better to do it now than later.
Still, superb work!
