4speeds4me All i can say to that comment is WOW

69Cuda340S I will try to get some pics up tonight. The first thing to do is to finish off the inside with rust bullet, all of interior, trunk, and anything that was not given color. From there i havent decided. Currently making that list now, there is soo much to do i just need to pick a path to go

1fastrunner Thanks Jim! Hope to get this as nice as yours

WOW I remember when you started this project. You've done some extensive work to get to this point. Your hard work paid off it looks great, I can't wait to see more. Thanks for the inspiration

I do have a question, though. Any chance of updating the sig pic with a before pic, the primer one you have now, and a picture of the body in black now? That'd be sweet!

Thanks! I cant do the sigs myself, dont have a program. I have a painted one but the only problem is getting it within the guidelines of moparts sig standards. Maybe someone really good with photoshop can do it?

GREAT NEWS!

Today i realized i forgot my camera cord at school, hopefully can pick one up tommarrow. This is not the good news

So Today i mad a purchase, an awesome one at that. Saw an add for a Challenger Rear and Trans, went and looked at them, low and behold it was a Dana 60 and an 18 spline 4 speed trans.

Turns out i just decoded the rear, its a 70-2 B-Body 3:54 Trak Lok with a date of 9-16-70...Its absolutely perfect for the car! It gets better, i only paid $700 for the rear and trans. I will most likely just sell the bellhousing and shifter assembly to get my money back for the rear...so here comes a DANA

I'm very excited if you can tell

Steve, that has to be the one I saw on Craigslist in Royersford. He posted that late Sunday night and I was going to call about the rear until reality set in, I'm broke! With my wife and daughter Shelby both in college money is tight. When I saw that ad I knew someone one going to get a heck of a deal. Glad to see it was you.

Okay guys here are some pics from the last couple days just bought a camera cord at the store to keep you posted

I have the back of the garage to work on so i figured the first thing that i would do is finish off the inside of the car with rust bullet...Here is some of what it looks like now...

Still havent finished it completely with all the area i need to cover its taking a little while to do or else id be sitting it wet rust bullet, not a fun thing that i have learned in the past

Now, here is the dana i picked up, complete drum to drum with a pinion snubber

Now i never actually sprayed anything else, time ran short last break, hopefully i can get some other things done, started with the rear bumper today. It need a lot of straitening. Its pretty strait now and i left some low spots that i will just build up...

There was two extra holes in it that someone may have put bumper gaurds on, but filled them in...

Then started to recover it with a product that will not be rubber but darn close

That is an awesome car and has come a long way. I'm a fellow young gun right along with you guys. In the process of restoring my 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner (383 4 speed), almost similar to your car. Good luck and I guess all of us are going to prom this year. My red 80 malibu the car I'm taking to prom, unfortunately the Roadrunner won't be ready and I know dad won't let me borrow his 67' Dart GTS lol.

It's about time you got back to work on the Bee

I don't think that Dana is gonna work for you. I'll be happy to trade you rear ends though and take it off your hands.

Seriously I thought I found some good deals but your on a roll. I can't wait for more updates.

Oh And I finally put that list together that I was talking to you about at the party. I'll PM it to tonight when I get home.

What are your plans for the trunk? I was suprised to see that you didn't paint it with the rest of the car.
