Great job on this Bee! Negative comments are a sure sign people envy the results of your hard work.

i agree its about mopars but it should be about the right mopars and anything above 71 is not worth the time or money,

Well which one is it? If it bothers someone because he's restoring a car that is not the "right mopar" then don't read and or respond to this post. If Steve wants to do it, why does people knock what he's doing? If he wants to restore a car for what he wants and or likes, then don't scrutinize him for it. So what if its not a Hemi 'Cuda. He's not Roger Gibson but at least he's doing something HE wanted to restore. Its nobody's time and money that he's using. I applaud him for taking the initiative to restore a Mopar and to help keep this hobby alive Enough of bashing someone because its not the "right mopar"

It would be nice to see the two nay sayers go else where to embarrass themselves, its amazing to read such negative garbage and I do think an apology is in order. To the two young lads, keep up the great work you guys are doing an awesome job. This is an undertaking most people would never attempt let alone at the ripe age of seventeen so to anyone who has any further negative comments to make don't bother go somewhere else please.

69bronzeT5 Give it a whirl dude. Im lucky enough to have a guy watching over my shoulder whos been doing this stuff the last 40 or so years. But i will tell you its this. Once you get it primed, you can let the guidecoat and your hand do all the work. Its a very long process and you will screw up, its just the nature of things. Try it and if you cant get it well then your out maybe $150 in supplies verse two hours of a shops labor.

Well, I have no tools to do it either so that would be more money for me haha. I don't think I'll try it but painting....that's a thing I'd like to try.

AMEN. He's been sending P.M.'s to me. You'd think he would be "grown up" enough not to be playing elementary school games but I guess not.

I will say that this young man inspired me to tackle my own body work and learn to weld my own stuff. I even bought a new welder! I must say his welding skills "progressed" much faster than mine!
This "old fart" thanks you for the motivation.
I COMPLETELY respect your committment and truly understand the amount of work involved to get you to this point.

Nice job, Steve.

I tackled a '71 Barracuda a few years back and I must say you make it look easy! Quarters and a trunk floor were enough to make me think "What have I gotten into?".

I'm currently working on a '63 330 and honestly I don't CARE whether or not it's a popular body style or whether I can get my money back out of it! I'm doing it for ME!

It's great therapy to turn a rusted pile into a finely honed piece of art that I can drive .
