A friend's wife just blew the tranny in her '02 Voyager and my friend is a little short. He doesn't want to replace it with a high mileage used '02 tranny and was hoping a later model used one would fit. Anyone know?

It is a 3.8 with OD.

It's an A604 but just looking around it appears that it's unique to 2001/2002 but if no one gets back to you pm me and I'll ask my brother in-law who owns a tranny shop. I'm on midnights so I might not get back to you until the afternoon after my nap.

Our 98's tranny went (3.3/A604) in our van, but it had 180,000 miles on it, a local yard, run by a Mopar guy, said any trans from 96 to 04, 3.3 or 3.8 would work, he said the computer plugs need to match, but can be changed if you want to fuss with it. Watch you don't get a 3.0 trans.
