Did you guys finish the driver's quarter patch (in front of the wheel)? Let's see a photo of that one if you got it done. I always envisioned that one on my Hemi car, but of course never got the chance.

Keep up the good work. (A rebody would have been much easier - this seems never ending).

juicedcuda - We used the aircraft remover. It works great, first coat takes the undercoating off then the second takes the paint

Been finishing off the welds and grinds and today scuffed the passenger quarter and laid the first batch of filler on. Kind of exciting knowing that the body is past metal work. Still have a couple of minor things to do plus anything on the panels removed which need attention(not much repair on those)...

Prior to that when i was cleaning out all the low spots i found this. I just though it was pits with filler in it, no just some big old holes...

Alright guys we got some more done today. First off Ryan finished stripping the back end of paint...

Then Greg finished stripping the door and we bolted it on for a full body mock up to check gaps. It still needs adjustment but we will wait till everything else is hung...

So today we got a nice present from member Ryan_340. A dual exhaust rear valance, beat up a little but nothing we cant fix. Here is The one he sent and the one we had from the parts car. We will be making one from the two...

The first step was to address the rust on the one we will ultimately be using. Drilled out the spot welds and switched the brackets...

Then mocked it up to make sure the angle of the bracket was correct...

Then cut out the exhaust cutouts and cleaned them up, as you can see they are pretty beat up too...

Then layed them in and tacked them up. The duals will look ten times better!

Thanks again to member Ryan_340! He helped us out big time by donating this piece!

I'm in the middle of a project myself. Its definitely not as big as the one you guys are undertaking but it still gets frustrating at times.
Every time i look at this thread and see the work you have taken on, it gives me restored hope that i will in fact get this car finished one day and there is nothing that gets thrown at me that i can't overcome!
Thanks guys

I have a few names for it:

"PIECES"

"Patches"

"Daydream"

"Badbee"

"Vampire" (because it's sucking your social life right out of you!).

Keep up the good work.
