Heads were pulled for new stealths after rebuild on my 383. I noticed a white deposit on two valves, one on each head and noticed they were on the 7, and 8 plugs (rear of motor) What would cause this? Attached is photo of one.

No fuel additive. I did some more research and It's normal to have a white deposit on the exhaust valves. Thanks

Back in the day after a run down the hiway if the engines were running good the insides of the tail pipes would be white.
Even now if I run left over race gas mix in the garden tractor I have a white exhaust outlet.
