Ok Guys, I need an electric fan with shroud for a 26" radiator. I've seen some for the 22" rad, but not the larger one. What are you using and or suggest? Thanks Jamey

I was looking at the hhr fan, but after checking last night I don't have enough clearance.

It's big money but Spal makes a dual fan set-up.

It is 25.8 inches across

Ouch, That spall fan is expensive. I just measured the distance between my radiator and water pump pulley. I have less than 3 1/2 inches of clearance to work with, unless I modify my core support.

The car is a 67 belvedere. My problem is my aluminum radiator was custom made with 1 1/4" cores instead of 1" cores. I was thinking of running a stock shroud with a slimline fan installed in the shroud.

I had clearance issues with the WP also, but I just offset it from the center.

How much clearance did you have from your radiator to water pump? I have around 3 1/2"

When you take off the stock fan off the water pump, the shaft takes up about an inch of space. I had to get a grinder (because apparently it was hardened steel-found out after ruining 2 saw-zall blades) and grind it off. I then had to remove the alt and ac compressor and take the idler pulley and belt off. Then I could squeeze it down there. I have about > < space between the fan motor and water pump pulley, but it all fits nice and looks stock.

BTW, I took the radiator out to mount the fan assembly.
