Ive got a Star Vacum pump. Ive put 5 passes on this engine and have not pulled any oil into the can, Now on the 6th pass on its pulling 2oz in the can, and shooting about the same amount all over the underside of the hood and inner fender, out the 3 breather holes in the top of the Star can...Now i have a -12 bung welded to the valve cover, right over the 2nd stand for the shaft rocker (BB Mopar 440-1 heads) and i have a baffle about the size of a business card. I guess it somehow got the job done on the first 5 paSSES??? Now i made another baffle thats huge, about 6" long and goes the whole width of the valve cover, ill get some pics up later. Is that usually it?? the engine doesnt seem hurt and its pulling the same vacum at 2,000 as it first did...
