Nice looking crank that I picked up at a swapmeet for $25. Probably a TF or TA crankshaft because it has the larger 3.0 inch main bearings.

Nicely made crank, maybe a billet? Fairly lightweight with the mains and rods fully drilled. Bryant maybe? It is a 4.50 inch stroke but there isn't a brand name on it anywhere that I can find.

Not much help but most fuel cranks are center counter weighted. The one in this pic is a Bryant fuel crank.

Another givaway on blown cranks is multiple slots for the keyways. My crank was stamped with markings from Bryant.

Ohio crank started making billets to buyer specs, maybe one of theirs? As stated most fuel cranks are center-counterweighted. Top alcohol usually uses less stroke. Does it have a convertor centering ring on the flange?

I think if you look at the front counterweight you'll find the remnants of the word "Bryant" somewhere.

It doesn't have the centering ring so it isn't a pass car crank. Also, the 3.0 inch mains are only used in special blocks (Keith Black, etc) so it has to be an alcohol or fuel crank. It does have an extra keyway so it is most likely from a blown motor.

You might be onto something there. There appears to be a partial NT on the front of the crank next to a slug of Mallory. So maybe the Mallory was installed right thru the Bryant stamp.

Here is another crank that I picked up at the same swap meet for the same $25 price. This one is a pig! 84 lbs, Keith Black crankshaft. Full counterweights, undrilled mains and undrilled rod pins. This one has dual keyways, 2.750/2.375 pins, no centering ring. This one is 4.250 stroke.

There was 2 different materials for billet cranks. I don't know the number code but one was heavy over 80 lbs and the other was lighter. Just under 70 lbs is light for a big stroke billet.

kb made some of those cranks with no center balance. also the no centering ring on the back of the crank is a give away for being some type of fuel crank
