Did Erson just vanish years ago or were they bought out?

Growing up in the early 80-s it was so easy to hit the local speed shop and grab almost any cam off the shelf and being young they were priced right and seemed to work well.

So now jump to 2009, I always thought Erson was low budget stuff and low quality usually goes with cost, however I just got a NIB set of econo W2 rockers and was really shocked and impressed at what seems to be decent quality parts.

The seem well built and are full needle rockers and outwardly compared to the indy rockers (alum, unbushed) they send with the indybrocks its like night and day.

So are the erson rockers a good product, or has quality really went down hill in the past 20 years or so????

Sorry this post was so long.

Shows you how much I keep up with it. PBM Performance now owns Erson Cams. Thanks for the correction.

I recently bouht an Erson cam from PBW. I live at 5000 feet and my MP 284/.528 solid cam was a dog here. Tom at Auto Marine machine in Carson City, NV( he formerly did tech for Erson) spec'd a cam for me and my engine is now a real terror. It pulls from the bottom up. PM me if you want the phone number.
