Hi, i have a 69 Dart that i have been restoring for the past 2 years. I am in the process of putting it all back together and have a question about changing out the a/c. The new engine is in with all the a/c equip. removed. I would like to know what has to be done on the inside? The a/c heater box has the large opening for the a/c ducting to the interior. Do you just cover this area? I am also using the orig. a/c controls, is this ok or do i have to go to a non a/c unit. What happens with the vacume lines? Is the heater control valve the same? I know lots of questions. But thanks in advance. Bob

Why remove it in the first place? Youre not "restoring" the car if youre ditching the factory A/C

non a/c box goes to different holes in the firewall.
It would require cutting and patching holes.

I am not sure what extra holes you are sealing up. you can still use it for heat.
