I'm sure it's been discussed but I am curious what will be a direct swap onto my 1966 Charger. I have manual drums now and want disc. I was told 73 and up A/E body is better and direct swap. Something about the bearings being bigger/ better. I also hear Dippy and Cordoba will swap in too. I found a 1974 Charger that complete in the J/Y and was going to grab them but then thought they are B bodies and probably wouldn't swap. I then found a 80's Dippy Police car that was in a fire and am leary about those parts. My car has a 69 up K-frame and new suspension. Time to upgrade the brakes. I have everything from a 1967 Satellite except the calipers and everyone wants a pretty penny for them.
So what's the simplest, most direct swap for my car?

Anything from 1973 or newer is a good swap. That '74 B body car would be fine but even better would be something with 11.75 rotors such as a '76 or newer B body.

You'll have to be careful with caliper location and hose routing. There are lots of parts that will work so don't settle for some hacked together solution just because they were the first calipers or hoses that you found.

I put the Master Power kit on my '66 Charger several years ago. It's based on the oem stuff and has been good so far. Probably go with bigger rotors and adapters down the road.
