My car never came with the correct one and for years have just been using an open style. Looking for the correct style to put on.

Is it the duel snorkle style? It would be for a 70 challenger se. A pic would also be great.

Depends on the motor. Big block or small block? Sixpack or 4 bbl?

My 71 340 had duel holes and was told it was the same in 1970
edit I see you had 383..

I have on the dart sport a 6 pack with no air damm in the from. Was told it was a 440-6 but don't see one on the site

are you refering to the air dam in front of the filter attached to the base? that was used on cars that didn't have a fresh air hood on 440 six pack cars for 70 and 71. if it isn't there, then it was for a fresh air hood car i.e. air grabber ramcharger ect...

Yes mine is missing the air dam and the base had some rust pits where it looks to have been on a rubber to seal it to hood
Sorry for the high jacked thread.
Restoring the cars is the fun for me great to see all the differant things that make them just that differant from each other.
And I will go a little with this statement they all have ther own personality due to the way they were made new or redone. Ok I am a nut
