what cam and compression would you advice on a 340 with a lysholm twinscrew blower?
has ported eddyheads
needs to run on pumpgas
i want it to be a solidroller since i have a good set of lifters

would be nice if this can work with a 4000rpm stall converter
just some 10-14psi of boost

has to be fairly reliable since i need to be able to drive almost 2hours to track and home so i dont want something stupidly agresive that will eat the springs after 1hour on the road

i have a compextreme energy 242/248@.50 .570/.576 left over but i gues there must be alot better grinds for this
if its a custom deal and you dont like to share to much feel free to PM

thanks

as soon as i know how big i will have to build the exhaust i will build it, now i have tti stepheaders and a 3" exhaust but will build something larger, i can go all the way to 2" primarys i think if needed, with 3½"collectors and exhaust

gears are 4.10:1 with 28" dragradials (MT275/60-15)

fuel is 99octan shell V-power straight from the pump but its measured diferent than US so i feel safe in saying that its the same as US 93 octan V-power

Vpower up here is 91 0ctane... 10-14 lbs of boost is a large range but 10 is achivable with 8.5 and pumpgas. 14 might be little scary. Shot of meth would help out alot at that boost. I am running 8 lbs with 9:1 but that is a turbo with a good sized intercooler.

11.67@118 1.88 60' with only 7-8 lbs of boost. Turbocharged, megasquirted, 407 BB, 440 source heads, roller cam, 9:1 comp. http://s292.photobucket.com/albums/mm14/beansgracie

1FAST340.

Where did you find a intake?
I've been looking a long time for a SB blower intake.

Good luck with your build.

actualy if your looking for one for a normal roots blower then bds has it for some realy stupid money http://blowerdriveservice.com/cart/index...06&cPath=64 yep thats 936$

my solution is that im designing my own since a roots manifold wont fit the lysholm blower any good anyway, its mostly planed just need to start actualy making a mockup and see how it will work in the real world and then build one with some good help

thanks:)

I presume stock 3.31" stroke? for a "shelf" piston/rod combo, doing the math, assuming a 4.14" bore, .039" thick gasket, .030 over, and 64cc heads, using a diamond 41410 piston (for a 4" stroke, 21.5cc dish) and some Howards Forged Billet rods for a SBC (PN BR6500, $839 from summitracing.com), will net you a short block .002" out of the hole with a factory 9.6" deck height, and 8.6:1 compression, with tight quench for good knock resistance....

you probably don't need the 4.10's the car will probably like 3.73's or .55's better.

that would actualy be very nice for driving to the track, think i may run out of rpm with those gears and maybe be alitle hard to control the power in the start with those gears?
