Just heard Dewey Cook from Lebanon, OH passed on. If I remember right, he had a killer SS/BA '65 Dodge back in the 60's and 70's, ran at Edgewater, Tri-State, Kilkare, NTR, Indy. I'm looking for a pic, nothing yet.

Dewey had been ill for quite some time. He and his brother 'Bud" had many 65 & 68 cars. Was a Barnett customer in the mid 70's. Partnered up with Walt Ulrich also. Bud built the rest. His son Randy is still racing. I traveled to many races with them. Many good memories, especially in the old "Rod Shop" bus. He was a hired driver for many including Billy Stepp. He could handle a 4 speed with the best!!!

I remember growing up as a kid and goofing off between rounds with Wayne Cook (passed in 84) Randy Cook and Tim Cook and all of us watching our Dads race together. My Father was Charlie Frazier (Nasty Rumor 64 plymouth) who also passed away. I was blessed to have known Dewey & Bud Cook. Can remember many times when all those Mopar guys traveled to events together. Was almost a who's who of Super Stock Raching from this area. There would be my Dad, Dewey & Bud (and that famous bus ... lol), Jerry Daily, Harold "skeeter" Leiter, Len Silvers. Wow was a blessed kid or what ???? I hope you will always rest in peace Dewey. And say hello to Dad for me. Godspeed
