Put the radiator in and used these nifty Gates Powergrip hose clamps that are heat shrink to fit!

I'm tired of scraping my knuckles on the old worm-gear or corbin style clamps!

It is looking good. As far as those corbin clamps go, I cannot stand them

Into the great outdoors.

Some of the first overall shots of the car in quite a while since I let it out of the cage today.

I'm probably going to put some lowering blocks on the rear since the SS spring have it sitting WAY high!

I think the stance looks really good the way it is.

I'll see how it looks after I get the taller and wider tires and rims out back. I'm not a huge fan of the stinkbug stance!

The first picture on the first post was with the stock /6 springs and I liked that look a whole lot better.

I don't like a big rake on cars either. Put your other rear tires on and put the car on a level surface and then show us. Pics with the car sitting on a sloped drive way is deceiving. The car is looking great though.

It LIVES!

Fired it for the first time and it sounds awesome!

Instant throttle response and open headers sound bitchin'!

That is looking great ! You have really put alot of hard work into it and I am sure it will be worth it when we see it done. And you have the right valve cover stickers on it. Ron

Thanks guys!

This summer has been really rough as I was employed off and on and really didn't want to spend money until I saw how the job situation shook out.

The car was so close I could taste it!

I did get the transmission cooler done, lubed up my rearend and and cleaned up some more underhood.

At least it's running before winter and I can work on small stuff to get it on the road by spring.

I realized the other day about the only thing left of the car I originally bought was the basic body shell, dash trunk lid and passenger door!

Looks really great and I have been following your build fairly closely. What did you use to re-dye your kick panels and other interior parts?

Duplicolor vinyl and fabric.

I also used their adhesion promoter.

I start out by thoroughly cleaning the parts with wax and grease remover and then liberally apply the adhesion promotor.

I tried really hard to scratch some off the back of the kick panels and couldn't do it! I was really impressed with how well the stuff works.
