Ive been throwing the idea of putting a carb on my engine when i finish it, instead of the fuel injection. my truck is a 94 Dakota with a magnum 360 soon to be 408 and is going to either have a procharger or a turbo on it. it has obd1 not very tune friendly to say the least. so I'm thinking of going with a blow-through carb. i think i know most of the stuff that i need for the swap. one thing I'm a little lost on is the distributor what kind do i need Ive heard the LA ones will fit, but do i want one with vacuum advance I'm guess no. or cap off the vacuum port and lock it down and use the msd boost retard to pull timing out when is boost? thanks for any and all help.
