Darrel is human and have faults like the rest of us but what makes him different he could drive and no matter his faults he was/is a gentlemen and Pro Stock is better for having him. My
Darrel was always pleasant, even when things weren't going his way. A true gentleman and a class act.

DOING TIME I would guess. JUST KIDDING! Calm down you guys! Couldn't resist that one...LOL !
Darrel's paid whatever dues he needed to and should be respected for the contributions he made to PS racing and the Mopar Brand!
Carry on...

I remember when I was a lot younger. probably 10 or so. I was able to talk to darrel. like an actual conversation. How many racers will stand there and talk to some lil snot nosed kid in a mopar shirt lol!
I had the same experience when I was that age. Scott Geoffrion was just as nice.

I think he is taking it easy. His hot looking daughter had a baby a few years back, so he is enjoying his grandchild.
LOL...Dara now has two children, Henry and Cooper. She is an attorney and lives in Washington, DC.
As stated, he and his son Chase are very busy with their business.
Below is Darrell and his grandson Henry.

I agree Darrel always made time for the fans... Scott too... Funny thing I first talked to Scott when he was working for WJ...He was the only person in the WJ area that had anything that even resembled a smile... Bob Glidden always seemed to have time for his fans as well..

They must be doing pretty good, I blow by their place in the RR every few days. They built a new shed to house more equipment this summer. It is out near the Fleming County line. Bobby does own the gas station/liquor store by the interstate. I'm glad DA escaped from the drug cesspool/whirlpool that is in eastern KY. Very easy to get sucked in and counting those that are on the outside of it is far easier than counting those in the middle of the crap. So good for him.
I want my fair share
