Guys,

My alternator developed a short and a current spike fried my fusible link. This brave wire gave its life so my car can drive another day.

Does anybody have a part number for this wire? This is for my ’70 E-body’s 340. Would a local parts store chain carry this? The link has a male connector plug at one end.

I am not rich...but I get off my ass everyday to make sure I am not broke!

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

You can buy a generic fusible link at Advance Auto, but it won't have any connector on either end.

You could find a used or NOS fusible link if you're concerned with original looks.
