Anyone knows a fix for old snap rings (the ones that hold the bearing) on the output shaft that spinned and cut into the output shaft? I got 2 output shafts that got a to small diameter where the snap ring is and now also brand new snap rings are spinning. Is there a smaller snap ring I could use that fits and still holds the bearing in place?

the snap rings that hold the bearing in place are not supposed to be tight on the shaft. All they need to do is hold the bearing in place. As long as there is no for and aft movement of the bearing on the shaft it'll be fine.

As much as I learned about snap rings they are supposed to be tight and not spin. The output shaft does and WILL move forward/backwards and push the bearing on that snap ring. So the snapring will spin sometimes. And I got 2 output shafts that got totally eaten up grooves from snap rings that were spinning on it. So everytime I got a snap ring that spins I throw it away. They are still available new from Mopar (pricy!). But on those 2 output shafts even the new snap rings are totally loose because the groove is cut to deep. That’s why I was looking for a solution to this…

Then a new shaft is your solution , but as said it's not an issue .
