I have 31 x16.5 Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires on the car now and other than looking nice... well....thats 'bout all I can say good about them. They will spin rolling along 25 mph in high gear if I lay into the throttle, and what makes it worse is I cant even leave good black marks, it's like they just turn to powder and blow away.

So, I'm looking for another set of tires, something I can abuse on the street and still be able to run at the track, dont want to get caught up in the 2 sets of wheels and tires thing, simple reason dont have room.

opinions?????

Had the same problem on our dart when we had the sportsman's. Put ET streets and we are now lifting the front tires

John, I have a spare set of 15inX14in, 7in backspace up in the attic, they are either Cragar or Centerline. If you want them, they are yours.

I am at the end of my 16.5 X 31 MT sportsman pro,s.They were useless in the street and the track as far as traction was concerned.Have not started looking at a new set of tires yet,but would like something that will last longer than 2 summers

i have had great results from the PROTRACS that coker tire sells, they have all the big sizes. i put them on my 63 plymouth and they were awesome.

Cars look great! What size tires and wheels on the back of the coronet are you using? I heard of guys using 8" rims with 4" backspace or a 10" rim with a 5" backspace with stock wheel well.

John, yes, they are dual bolt pattern, 5x4.5 and 5x4.75. I got them for the 14X32 slicks that racer jr. had on your arrow. I will never use them, maybe you can.
