Well after 2 years I decided to use my Mega Block to build a stroker. Of course I now have to get my license and here are the results.

1st run was had some electrical issues and went 6.30 at 106. Fixed the problems and them went
6.37 @ 97 (moderate run)
6.225 @ 109.96
6.224 @ 109.97

I was footbraking and leaving at 2200 shifts were at 6200. 60 ft on the last 2 passes we 1.354 and 1.358.

Combo is 4.375 stroke, 4.350 bore, Indy SR bowl blended by Dwayne Porter and then opened up to Max Wedge with minor cleaning in the ports. Indy 440-2 intake with a Biggs 4150 1050 jetted at 86 primary and 94 on the secondaries. Cam is a comp roller speced by Dwayne.

Still need to upgrade the fuel system and change the rear end gears from 4.56 to 4.29 for some 1/4 mile blast.

What size rear tire are you running, you might be able to run 3.91 with that stroker with better results.....Phill

Good to see you are happy. It is nice to get to the track and see how it goes. I love my 511 CID with a flat tappet cam.

What is the rest of the combo?
Weight?
CR?
cam specs?

I run the Goodyear 1984. They are a 14 X 32 stiff wall.

I have'nt weighed the car lately, but should be around 3150-3200 with me in the car.
CR is 12 to 1
Cam is a comp cam roller with 1.6 rockers
int. ex. int @.050 ex. @.005
704 707 279 283

There is more in the combo and the DA was 3000.

You may want to hold off on that gear change, I am running a 14 32 on my car with 4.30 rears and I am moving to a 4.71. My engine did much better with 4.56 gears and a 31" tire. Most of the Mopar crowd around here are running 4.56 with 29.5 tires and 500" engines. My friend Bill went back to his 4.56 after running 4.10s or 4.30s because it didn't pull as well down low and He runs in the 6.1./9.7. range.

Car looks excellent leaving . Carries the wheels about 30 feet and sets down easy . I think the 4:30 will help it .

With 110 mph in the 1/8 and 14x32 tires, I think the 4.56 will be just fine in the 1/4 mile. I run 4.30 with a 31.8" tire, but my car goes 114 in the 1/8th and 140 in the 1/4; all at less than 7000 rpm.

Thanks for the replies. I am still going to try the 4.29 as it is a pro gear that I was able to get a good deal on. The 4.56 is a street gear and it is only a matter of time before it lets go. I can also change my tire size as i will be needing new skins for the back.

Jim, where are you running your timming? Any other suggestions as I do believe there is more in the combo. Hoping to run some 6.0's in good air.

Changed the rear from 4.56 to 4.29 and shift points from 6200 to 6500. Car ran a best of 6.165 at 110.55.

Here is a video.

If you dont mind my asking, why shifting so early?
