I have been waiting for an R5 block for years! Including shipment which did not work out, giving me extra cost on this. Last time the n'th appointment was done, everything was cleared out was in January this year. Since then, all possible bad excuses - I threatened with police and it "helped" some on the communication, but still I did not receive this block and others I have bought from him and paid for. I really cannot see that he can run a serious business. Any others having dealt with him? Can we do a common action to this? My problem is I live in Norway, and it is not that simple to act against such, not even being a US citizen.
Thanks,
Oyvind Mostad / Norway

R-5 BLOCK 1500.00

Yeah, I know this could do, however, I paid 1800 for the Liuzzo block w/ hardware and I have not given up completely. Already got a few, so I would rather have my money back....

seems to me someone should get to the bottom of this pretty quickly.
they are supposed to be one of the premier small block people.

This doesn't sound like Rick as I have worked with him for years and was always a stand up guy. I'll try and contact him tonight and see what's up.

I went through the same thing a year and half ago. Bought valve springs and retainers and what I got was a run around. Promises,promises.. then nothing.
good luck!

My dad has some parts there and IIRC he had spoken with him recently.

I bought an adapter plate from him. He said he'd make me a crank spacer as well for that price. He seemed legitimate at first, but then 5 months go by and still no crank adapter. Won't answer calls to shop or cell phone. Has texted me a few times and told me to call him. Tried calling him and no answer....

Not sure what to think....

I got an email from Rick last night, he said something about "taking in the chin". I assume he had heard from SCDaytona. I had not seen this thread yet myself.

I do know that a while back Rick took job with a defense contractor and about that time his brother had back surgery that did not turn out too well.

Its obvious that things are really starting to back up. I have parts I am waiting on also.

Bill

there is no excuse to not return phone calls or emails. had someone posted long ago about their problems maybe it would have saved a few people some money
