Can a Vacuum Reservoir be mounted on it's side so I can mount it inder the battery tray or does it have to be mounted vertically.
thats where the Chargers and Superbirds have their vacuum cans for the headlights.

I have to ask, is this so your power brakes feel more firm? I seem to have limited power brakes due to the low vacuume on my Ebody..
thanks
Now really firm.. If you have a lumpy camshaft it allows the power assist to work a couple of times after you slow down... Then the reserve vacuum is used up & the brakes feel rock hard but the car doesn't want to stop...

So is it safe to use? does it make it worse ?? or should I continue to roll the dice with a low vacuum?
thanks again
A vac resv can can't hurt, better than nothing, but if braking is really compromised by your lack of vac,....time for a vac pump, and resv can IMHO,....or lose the booster and go manual,....for safety's sake! IMHO
