Before I force something let me ask. Usually these turn a 1/4 counter clockwise and come off. First time on this car but the there are two pieces, the outer "plymouth" trim and the horn ring under the wheel spoke. I want to get the trim off the two spokes to remove the steering wheel. It's one piece that goes across the wheel. Doesn't seem like turning it is the way because trim on the spokes overlaps them? What's the trick?

If I remember the center turns off then there are screws holding the large piece down.Rocky

Last time I did a 64 was 25+ years ago but I believe you grab the center & twist it counter clockwise, the trim ring is secured with screws hidden under the center...

I think there are two screws in the steering wheel spokes that come out from the backside,at least thats the way 64 dodge comes off. I would think a plym. would be the same, hope this helps.
