Ok, let's start out saying that I'm NOT trying to rub anything in here.

Now, I was sitting here recalling that I made a post on a thread a while back....a member gave his story (a great read, btw) on how he won a race that weekend. And then I made a comment on how maybe I could pull off a win in Pittsburgh and write about it. I finally found this post and about freaked out with how close some of the #'s were that I mentioned. Sure, I had the venue wrong, but pretty close and dead on with some others....check this out....

if you want to see the whole thread, and this is what I posted....

Great read, Dave...congrats.

Maybe I'll have some stories from Pittsburgh after next weekend....something like, "I treed Lonnie in the final of the 10.0 race .410 - .421 and then ran dead on for the win."

Actual race at Martin me .407 - Lonnie .421, me - 10.002 for the win.

Creepy, huh?

I think that is cool Pat, who know what might of happened at Pittsburgh had your car not broken. Like we mentioned at Martin, pretty cool that we were able to rematch our 2007 race in the finals in different cars . I give you much respect on the track I hope you know that, pretty sure you know your hands are full if you race me too.

Lonnie, that 10 minutes waiting for them to get those junior's out of our way were the most agonizing 10 minutes of the weekend. Trying to figure out where I would/should lift when to get back on it, what to do if you were in front or me, or behind me, what to do if it's obvious who got the tree, all these scenarios running through my head to try and be prepared for anything. Believe me, I know what I'm up against when you're next to me.....(I just didn't know your "plan")

Pat,Lonnie,AWESOME job, both of you!!! Lonnie,to run the numbers in a borrowed car that you've never driven before!!??? What's up with that? I drove out there with Raff as spectators, and we had a GREAT time! It was great to see everyone out there! Our friend,Rick Ross, had a good showing in the 10.0 as well! Good job,Rick! Thanks for the use of the cart, saved my old legs a few miles of walking! See ya all at Norwalk! RandyB

Pat, I had a great time at Martin and glad I got to meet you.
I hope your repairs are minimal and ready for Norwalk.

Congrats on the win.

BTW.....do any 6 numbers between 1 and 60 stick out to you?
