I have a 1972 Plymouth Duster that had a missing driver's side drip rail moulding. The car does not have a vinal roof. I found a nice used set at carlisle on the 11th. I had tried it on but it can be pulled off fairly easily. How can I put it on so it stays? I do want to di it right though.

You need to gently squeeze the molding. When removed from orignal car the molding sprang open a bit. Be gentel as the molding will bend easily. It shoul;d snap on and sit firm with no glue or adhesives. Use a small rubber malet, a good peice of wood as a table and some towels so you don't mark the molding up. Gently tap one edge of molding to squeeze it. You only need to sqeeze it a little bit. To much and you'll never get it to snap back on. There a pain to do but i don't think there repoping duster moldings. Take your time and go slow.
