I have a 71 charger. Wipers have stopped working. If I turn wiper switch on, I hear a clicking noise from dash area and my amp guage pegs the needle with the timing of the clicking noise I hear. Any ideas? Thanks Dave

Is it possible that the nut holding the arms to the wiper motor fell off and your arms arent connected?

Sounds like your motor is fried.
