just wondering what you guys use to hold your hoods on? painting my car now, and have been using zeus fasteners but i cant get the hood off in a hurry if i need to.(had a small fire under the hood i was able to put it out with a extingisher through the scoop) anyway, so i was wondering if using 4 pins(2 front and 2 rear) would be good enough to hold it on. as always, thanks for the help guys!

I have a steel hood on my Coronet but on my 69 RR I had to put 3 in the front, 2 in the back with a six pac scoop crossing at 127 mph. The scoop plus air pressure in the grille would force the center of the hood up past 120 mph.

So far 5 pins have been fine @ 124.5 MPH . Not sure about the new set up expecting around another 15 MPH more with the elephant. Chryco
