Hi, folks. Finally getting around to putting my 999 back together. I have one part I cannot figure out where it goes. I had everything laid out, numbered, etc. when I took it a part, but this one doesn't seem to have a home. It is a thrust washer; about 1/4 to 3/8 inches wide. It has two tangs and they are across from each other on the same side - one on the outside and one on the inside and one is wider than the other. The outside of the washer is flat where that outside tang is located. It's probably about 2 to 21/2 inches OD (I should have brought it, or taken a picture, but didn't). My manual doesn't seem to show this, but I'm gonna re-read, etc., tonight and see if I can figure out where it goes. I'm wondering if it goes on the oil pump over the fiber washer? Can anyone help, or do I have everyone more confused than I am.

edit ... nevermind , reread and it's bigger than the washer I thought it was ...

Sounds like the front annulus thrust washer, fits between the front annulus support and its snap ring. It's not shown in the generic pic above.

That looks pretty much like it, but mine has a smaller "tang" on the inside - across from the bigger one at the flat.
