I just bought a car that has a rebuilt 440, 906 heads and Kieth black pop up pistons. What plugs should be used with this combination?
The plug that I took out of the engine looked too short to me, I am not sure that the plus the guy had in the engineeven went all the way through the head into the cylinder, they are about half as long as the plugs I have in my 906 heads on my 383 with kieth black hyperutectic dome pistons.

Mancini has the best plug application chart available on their website--check it before you buy--NGK's seem to be the very best that are easy to get and not too much $$ IMO

Autolite number 85. Best plug for your motor.

BEFORE they started making them in China--I urge you guys to try the NGK's MUCH better quality than the China Autolites

I've been using them for 30 years. Never had a problem with Autolite plugs. Put a new set in my GTX last week. There the only plug i'll use in a 440
