a racer from our track was testing his IN HIS GARAGE! oh, and he's the "chief" tech inspector at our track. and, yes, he went through the back of his garage.


....was there a button malfunfuction or something.. .if not,they must have let go of the button before the rpm's came down..i've done this test before and it only takes a few seconds for the rpm's to rise to your number then it's done...nothing to it ....unless you let go BEFORE the rpm's have came down...then you drive thru garages and the such. i've experimented with both techniques and they are usually within a few hundred rpm's of each other...i prefer the high gear test however...imo it's probably not quite as hard on parts as taken out the low end chip but both work when performed correctly....

quick tree yes i have but i'll check with them on those specs again i'm getting older so i don't remember all soon to be
51 this month and 32years racing .i was going to try short shifting.
stall or flash i have the brake set at 4000 might try 4400.
so what are we all trying to get a good launch and into the power band and shift overlap just starting at the power band again

I was there tues. Almost came over and said hi, but you were real busy. Watched a couple run(including you) before I left. Sorry I didn't notice anything that might help you but that thing sounds WICKED, I'm sure 9's are there,just have to find the majic combo. Its a whole new animal. Good Luck
