I have a Pete Jackson gear drive and the iron World Block. There is a bunch of room behind the gear drive to the block, more than 3/8". The instructions on the gear drive calls for .005 to .075 clearance to the block. I know the gear drive will push forward under power but how far back will it move when deceleration. Anyone have any experience with a gear drive and World block combo?
