Does anyone have a lead for having a chassis certified in the Sacramento area, I live in Fairfield. I am also in need of information on making my license runs, I would assume I will need my cage certified prior to making any license runs. Can any track accomodate you for licensing purposes.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, I can't seem to get ahold of anyone at Infineon raceway.

Thanks in advance

Jay

Jay....You gotta keep on him....he doesn't return calls very well....so give Ken Gentry a ring and see when he'll be in Calif.

If your car has mufflers to quiet it enough to 115db or less you can do your time runs on a wed. night at Infineon. I have signed a few off there. If not Sac on a friday night. There is a 2 day Summit Race at Infineon on July 18th and 19th, at that race you can do time runs and make all the noise you want if Wed. nights don't work.

As of two days ago Gentry was in Nor Cal. Sign up on www.norcal1320.com, there is a small thread on there about it.

Launie is a great guy, but as mentioned really tough to track down - I finally had to have Mike Rice and KEn Gentry track him down. Paul is local as is Launie and Ken. Call Ken - if he is around he'll sort you out.

There are a lot of us in the Sacramento area - we can always meet you out at the track and get you signed off.

Just got off the phone with Ken Really good guy to talk to, and just my luck, he was in town this last weekend. Anyone else needing a cert, he will be back in the area in about three weeks.

Thanks again for everyones info.

Launie is your best bet really. He is usually always around and can be found at Sac Raceway pretty frequently, just not the easiest guy to get ahold of sometimes. Ken is a great guy to but as pointed out he is a vagabond for sure. As for the license stuff, plenty of us around who can sign off but you will need to have the car certed and your physical done before you can proceed with getting the run in. A Friday at Sac is the best best, plenty of time to get the runs in. Infineon may be hard to get done in one day. I woudl be happy to sign off on your license if you need someone, I am sure we can get Lil Demon out there as well so there are two which is what oyu need. Good luck with it and let us know if we can be of any help.
