Hi everyone....
Some infos you might find useful if you plan to swap a '94 5.9l Magnum in a 67 body like me.....
It is true it is a very simple swap once you know the little tricks....
I stripped the engine off the donor truck along with the PCM, fuel pump, engine harness and pump/ASD relay, alt and serpentine belt system...
The only thing you need to adapt to the old body wiring is the igntion feed for the PCM (that was my biggest headache) what you need to know is when you hook up a ign feed to the computer from the old wiring is to make sure the current still flow while the key is in start position. I had current to the ASD but when I was cranking the engine, current was shutting off as all the juice was going to the starter, so the ASD was shuting off while I was cranking, so no current to the injectors and coil.
Otherwise, a direct battery current to pin 3 on the pcm, no need for '94 fuse box, direct wires from the ASD realy to pump relay, no need for the P/N switch of the '94 ( I kept the 904 and '67 switch and starter relay to crank the engine)
I fitted the pump in my '67 tank
