tigger1 OP member T Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 74 virginia	When swapping from an 8 3/4 to a ford 9 inch what would be the difference in drive shaft length? Will be using the same springs as the 8 3/4. Twin turbo 440 72 barracuda

challenger73400 enthusiast C Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 303 southwest Alabama	I've also started researching this and thanks to Laverne, this is what I've found. center line of axle to centerline of u-joint 8-3/4 = 12.35" 9" w/1350 joint = 11" 9" w/long yoke = 12-1/8"
