Hello:
A while back while driving my GTS to a local show I lost a battery cap. This resulted in acid being sucked out of the battery and onto the engine luckly none of the acid managed to get to the firewall or inner fender paint.
However the chromed valve cover on the drivers side took a real bath.... Leaving a filmy finish and countless pits and flaws.
I had heard of Precision Plating in Quincy Illinois, so decided to call them...I explained what happened and that this was on a National Show winning car and that it was also a rare car.
I informed them that I needed the valve covers back as quickly as possible because the car was registered for the Mopar Nationals in August.
Well I got them back today and I couldn't be more pleased. Not only were they returned in very quick fashion, but the chrome is flawless.
Also they held to their telephone estimate on the price.
These guys get my vote for Chrome shop of the year...excellent workmanship, quick turnaround, honest and fair priceing.
If you want to check out their work my GTS will be in Columbus at the Nationals, stop by and check it out...better yet call Precision Plating and give them a shot.

Hello:
I had both redone because the other one had picked up some light scratches...and there is a reflective color to good chrome and i wanted them to match...the price was $200 for both..which was to me quite reasonable....also they did not destroy the fold over metal tabs that hold wires in place.
