Hope this is the right forum to ask this question!!
I have located a set of 15x7 rallys and I am trying to makie sure they are correctly dated for my April 1st built AAR.
Here are the numbers stamped to either side of the valve stem:

M 56 2 VALVE STEM 12 MP
M 59 3 VALVE STEM 28 NA
M 57 1 VALVE STEM 11 MP
M 56 12 VALVE STEM 1 MP

The rims have heavy paint on them so the guy couldn't see if these had the 2944390 part number stamped on them. Any help would be great!!!!!

Thanks,
Matt

M 5 (Motor Wheel plant#5) 6 (1976 or '86) 2 (Feb.) VALVE STEM 12 (12th) MP
M 5 (Motor Wheel plant#5) 9 (1979 or '89) 3 (Mar.) VALVE STEM 28 (28th) NA
M 5 (Motor Wheel plant#5) 7 (1977 or '87) 1 (Jan.) VALVE STEM 11 (11th) MP
M 5 (Motor Wheel plant#5) 6 (1976 or '86) 12 (Dec.) VALVE STEM 1 (1st) MP

Those appear to be Mopar Performance "MADE IN CANADA" wheels from the late '70s-'80s, not 390 wheels!
I'm not sure which decade they were actually available.

They have the "wide borders" around the openings in the wheels, incorrect appearance for '70-'71!

Who has the picture with the difference?

M56 and M57 are 1976 and 1977 dates. Mopar made a rallye wheel in those years, but it was the narrower 15 x 6.5 rim. The M59 could be an early 1970 wheel since they started building 70 cars in late summer 1969. If so, it could only be a 7” rim. I think mopar made a 15 x 5.5 in 1978, but that’s as late as the rallyes go as far as I know.

1970-71 15x7 Rallyes were part number 2944390 1972-73 15x7 Rallyes were part number 3580071
1975-77 15x6.5 Rallyes were either part number 3699066 or 3699461

The 390 wheel brings the big bucks
The 071 brings less
And the 15x6.5’s are hard to get rid of for some reason

Thank you all for the information - it really helped. I was very suspicious of these and I'm glad I didn't lay any money out for them - plus the guys price kept climbing every time we talked!
Thanks,
Matt
