can anyone tell me the overall length of an original strap for these transam hood cars. Looking at the pic Dave W posted above, I'm assuming about 3" ?

I never found any of those for my T/A. It is a funny looking strap and they used nothing like it anywhere else.
..(but don't tell anybody that I don't have them on my car, OK)....
....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!
