Brake drums red or unpainted?
Swaybar flat black or unpainted?
Centerlink?
The restoration book says that the entire framerail was painted semigloss black. Should I paint the entire frame black and then the undercarrige body color?

If that is the Paul Herd book it is full of incorrect info , use it as refence for part numbers , only some ??? Otherwise use it to line a birdcage .

What wheels are on it?

Swaybar - black 20-25%

Centerlink - natural - no paint.

Framerails - dip color and body color overspray.

Thats exactly the book that I am referring to. I noticed that there are many discrepencies between that book, my own observations and the advice here. Is there a better book?

It has the road wheels with what seems to be traces of red or orange paint on the drums.

That is correct. All "styled" wheel cars got the outside face of the drum painted red - It was a standard factory procedure.

None that I know of , the best reference is YOUR CAR , no 2 are exactly alike.

I'm also restoring a 69 Super Bee - Red with white bench seat interior (Hardtop). Any idea about the inside of the doors as far as color? I've seen pictures of cars with black interiors where the door is painted black, but I've also seen the doors painted body color. thanks!

I would paint the interior metal to match the door panels. If the exterior is red and the interior is white, for example, I believe the interior metal on the doors should be white.
My 69 Bee was this way from the factory (not red, but you know what I mean).

I thought the fender tag said what color the upper doors were

of course if you don't have a tag...

I want my fair share

It does many I have seen many cars with INCORRECTLY painted upper doors , the only time it's painted different is if the car has a two tone interior otherwise it usually matches the door panel.

Nice car! My interior is white bench seat, white headliner, white door panels and kick panels, black carpet, black dash, black headliner trim, and white arm rests. The door and back seat panel were painted red - same as exterior - but I'm pretty sure it is not original. And I don't have the fender tag or build sheet

Look behind the door panels and scratch the red. I'm sure you'll find white. I've seen cars "restored" like that, with body color on the inside of the doors. I like how they put the original plugs that cover the wing vent frame bolts back on, and they are the color that the doors were originally.

Here's an example on a $112,000 car. All that orange inside of the weather strip should be black.

I'd like to see the rest of that car , I think I can smell the perfume
