What is a reasonable price for getting some seats reupholstered?

I have a 66 300 with split bench front and bench back. The seats actually are not too bad with a few tears in driver seat and the top of the rear seat is rotted out from the sun. They are two tone blue.

I had one guy offer around $600 but he is cash out of his garage and a shop say $1800 and they would be show quality. I don't need show quality but I don't want junk either. I live near minneapolis if anyone has recommendations. Can I get these done nice for under $1000? Thank you

Hey, I just pick my seats up today, They were custom made for me and my bad back from Mopar seats. The center section is a thicker material than the sides.. The sides have the same satin look as my billboards on my car and other areas. He is located in central Tn....$600.00

May have better pics 2morrow for you

I like using Mac's upolstery in Eau Claire. VERY reasonable prices. IIRC, $550 did my headliner, vinal top and seat covers. I already had the materials though. Not 100% sure on price, but I know it seemed like a good deal. very profecinal and does AWSOME work. He's also a Mopar guy.

I had both front (bench) and rear seats in my Duster done here in SoCal. I supplied the fabric and vinyl, he rebuilt all the soft guts and cut/sewed the new seat covers...$700. The seats are a joy to sit in now.

500.00 for my front bench and rear seat...Detroit area. They were in good shape prior, I supplied the fabric. Great work!

Is the 1800 for labor and correct covers or just labor or just labor and generic handmade covers?

Big difference in those 3.

I want my fair share

I had my legendary covers installed on my 67..I found that 120 per bucket and the rear bench was 150-200. That was taking in the bare seat frames after I had blasted and painted them.. The better shops will fix any loose wires and install a good barrier product between the foam and the springs. Local shop here wanted to know if I wanted the original "burlap" barrier or something better.

I had a "guy" help me do one of my buckets. For $75.. I will probably take it apart and take it down to a pro and have it done right..

Local shop her has a couple of "geezers" like me.. They love working on the old stuff like the good ole days...

The $1800 was everything, I have not been able to find seat covers. I called legendary and was told they did not have anything for these cars.

I did check with the local guy at the shop and he said $1500-$1800 but he guaranteed I would be happy with them. Sounds like if its on the lower end the price is not that terrible. If the seats were real ratty I think I would have less of a problem pulling the trigger here but they are not that bad from what I see, just a few problems that are visible.

do it yourself and save some money. my dad did his in his gtx, we did mine in my super bee, and now in the 73 charger. the 73 was the hardest w/ having buttons to pull on, but it worked out. its really not that hard to do. 8000 miles later, mine still looks good

Legendary dosen't offer a front bench, buckets only/leather/vinyl for 66 300,...A compentent shop can stitch the corect pattern,...but your looking at about $600-$1000 depending on pattern. mat'l and unforseen extras, for a front bench/w/ folding armrest,....rear seat about $500,....just the seats and no installation into the car, basically cash, and carry,....I'd estimate from my experience expect quotes from around $1500 plus or minus a few bucks, depends on a lot of variables we can't see from here? regarding the condition of your seats,....plus location bears alot on price also, as dose material choice
