I think i need to change the TCI pg to something better.
The new engine made 730HP on the dyno yesterday.
440/498 old build with stage VI heads and a Dom.
The dragster is an old FED,4.10 rear.
Any good sorces out there for a PG trans?

I use a JW trans with JW 5500 stall conveter.

So far, best of 8.21 @ 161 in 800 DA. Typically 8.40 @ 158 in 2800 DA. 60ft time in the 1.17/1.18 range. 493, 13.5:1, Indy EZ-1 heads, 4.30 gear, 34.5 inch tall tires.

If your old junk isn't hurt, would run it.....

I have had a stock case glide in my dragster since 2001 and the only thing I did when went from 8.20s to 7.70s was switch to a straight cut 1.80 planetary....

Call Mike. He builds the strongest glides that I know of and is a great guy. He won't try to sell you anything you don't need. We've put about 30 six second/200 MPH passes on one of his strongest units in our 2800 pound car without a hiccup.
