Wasn't their someone that made a door striker reinforcement for "A" bodies? I don't remember the details, but it made the area of the striker post a lot more sturdy. I think it was a weld in part. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I always get a larger diameter washer. Nobody will notice the difference.
