A while back I bought a 400 out of a '75 Newport to put in my '73 New Yorker. Today I was cleaning up the power steering pump and brackets and got wondering about the setup on it as I haven't really seen one like it before. The pump is mounted low and outboard with a funky spaced 2 groove crank pulley.

I thought after 71 or so the federal pump was replaced by the saginaw but this seems original? Or is this the common 70's BB setup? Not a big deal but I was just curious about it.
